What is eTwinning?

The focus of the e-Learning european programme is the e-twinning of schools in the same country or in different countries of UE. So eTwinning is a new resource to create pedagogical partenrships thanks to use of TIC.

eTwinning brings real benefits to schools involved in projects: cultural exchange, a direct comparison among different pedagogical practices and approaches, a cultural/linguistic and human  enrichment, but especially the awareness we all live in a united, multilinguistic and multicultural  Europe.

eTwinning is also a way to:

-          use TIC to close the gaps among european students

-          motivate students by interesting and innovative activities

-          learn about education system in european countries

-          share and exchange views with other european teachers

-          increase the knowledge of foreign languages

-          strengthen the european dimension of citizenship.
